NUST MISIS secured 12th place in the Digital Economy University Ranking, compiled by the autonomous non-profit organization Digital Economy with support from the Association of Computer and IT Enterprises. The study assessed 304 Russian universities across 69 IT-related specializations.
The ranking agency Times Higher Education has published a list of the best universities in the world across various subject areas. In 2025, NUST MISIS entered the list of leading universities in computer science for the first time. It ranked in the top 28% of universities worldwide in physical sciences and the top 41% in engineering. The ranking was based on five criteria: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.
NUST MISIS, at the invitation of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation, participated in the Education & Careers Expo 2025 in Hong Kong, where it presented information about educational programs and opportunities for studying in Russia for foreign citizens.
